In my earlier years I headed a laboratory conducting
scientific research in Molecular Biology at Yale University.
I later started to make paintings, fabric mosaics, and films in
a loft in New York City. More recently I continue this work in a
loft in New Haven, CT.
I have received commissions for a number of large
fabric murals, including two large fabric on stretched linen, murals.
The first 9ft x 17ft, in 10 interlocking sections
for the state of Connectucut, and a 9ft x 14ft in 8 sections for
the Quinnebaug Valley
Community
College auditorium, Danielson, CT,
dedicated in March 1985.
I have also received two grants from the Connecticut Commission
on the Arts.
My many solo shows include O.K. Harris and 55 Mercer Galleries in
NYC.
I have made films over an extensive number of years. Many of them
have won awards in festivals across the country. They have also been
well received in NYC galleries and festivals. Some of them can be
found in Harvard and Yale University classic collections.
My most recent focus is on a series of ink and water color paintings on paper.
